Our members enjoy an active social life, not always limited to Jersey.
The focal point of Round Table is its regular meetings, (chaired by one Tabler for the year) and usually in the evening with a meal.
The regular meeting is the forum for speakers and other entertainment, as well as for discussions on social and service projects.
Visitors and potential members will always be made particularly welcome. Round Table provides an ideal opportunity to establish new friendships.
Social events and outings are a frequent and popular way of bringing Table members and their families together. These are organised both at a local and national level.
Many Round Tables have forged links with overseas Tables which provide an excellent opportunity for Tablers and their families to enjoy international hospitality.
Inter-Table and regional sporting competitions are many and varied. These play an important part in the calendar and culminate in events such as the National Sporting Weekend (NSW).
Round Table is well known for charity work and fundraising activity.
Round Table is well known for novel fund raising events which form an important part of its activities. With an emphasis on local and practical help Community Service must be fun, especially our famous Charity Ball, which raises thousands of pounds for charity each year.
Round Table is also involved with National projects. Since 1986 we have supported the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Appeal. This continuing help has assisted the Appeal not only in locating potential donors, but also in the development of new laboratories. In addition over the years Round Table has contributed more than £5,000,000 to the Children In Need Appeals.
You can help us by supporting us when we run our events.
